Fellowship, Fun and Purpose

The Springboro United Church of Christ (UCC) has one of the deepest histories of any church in the area. Established in 1805, our church is recognized as the oldest west of the Allegheny Mountains – all the while, it's members involved in helping the community of Springboro and beyond with a purpose of caring and fellowship.

Embracing its German heritage and roots as the former German Reformed Church, the Springboro UCC is proud and excited to bring
Oktoberfest to Springboro! The two day festival will be a celebration of authentic German food, beer, wine, and entertainment for the whole family.

Oktoberfest Festival – September 8 & 9 – Helping Those in Need

In keeping with our traditions of helping those in need around us, the Oktoberfest Springboro celebration uses event proceeds to support deserving charities including:

The Military Order of the Purple Heart has a mission to foster an environment of goodwill and camaraderie among combat wounded veterans, promote patriotism, support necessary legislative initiatives, and most importantly, provide service to all veterans and their families.

The Shriners Hospitals for Children – Cincinnati, is committed to providing the highest quality care to children in the areas of Orthopedics, Burn Care, Spinal Cord Injury, and Cleft Lip and Palate, within a compassionate, family-centered and collaborative care environment, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. Located near downtown Cincinnati, Shriners Hospitals for Children – Cincinnati is designated by the American Burn Association and the American College of Surgeons as a Verified Burn Center, meeting the highest standards of burn care.

The Springboro Community Assistance Center (SCAC) was created in 2007 to assist families in need of food and other services. Families who need assistance are able to utilize the center as the need arises. The goal of the SCAC is self sufficiency and improved quality of life for all family members.
